when do you stop?

So, when do you cease writing your thesis and decide that your information is sufficient? When do you know if your thesis is being treated like a dissertation? When does one stop themselves? Until you have completely exhausted, trampled, and embraced your argument?

Help. I can't stop writing.

Well, look on the bright side. Having left no stone unturned, and no argument, niche, and nuance unexplored, you'll be eminently prepared for your defense. Right?

FRIEND:

STOP WRITING.

I'm sure you've more than sufficiently covered everything you need to. You KNOW you have and now you're just obsessing. Just say no. You can do it.
