About three weeks ago, Sam invented his first joke. When we wanted him to answer a question or complete a phrase, instead of saying the correct word, Sam would answer, "Popcorn!" Then he would throw his head back, laugh heartily, say "No..." and then give the correct answer. To give you an idea, here's a sampling of Sam's joke:Me: "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great..."
Sam: "Popcorn! Ha! Ha! Ha! No...fall!"
Now he answers most questions with his popcorn joke. It's funny that he has such a fascination with popcorn, since he's only eaten it about three times in his whole life. He does have a favorite book about popcorn, though, and I'm sure that is related to his obsession. You can imagine Sam's excitement the other night, then, when my sister L wanted to eat popcorn and watch a movie. I posted a picture of them with popcorn in yesterday's post, and here's another one of my favorites:

Too funny! Carter loves popcorn too. I couldn't figure out why either, but maybe it is just something kids like. Carter gets super excited if he even sees an empty bag of microwave popcorn. What a weird kid :)

That is how I know Sam is your child -- because he is smart enough to make a joke when he's that young! Brilliant (and clearly a funny) boy!
I could be wrong about this since I don't know your family's looks really well, but your little sister looks like a mini you.
