bed intruder song

If you haven't seen the news clip about the bed intruder, watch this (and it goes without saying that you should pay attention to the brother's interview around 1:00). Hil-ar-i-ous. I love that guy's attitude.

Then watch/listen to the Bed Intruder Song. Jeremy and I have been listening to it for the past fifteen minutes, and we can't stop chuckling. The song gets stuck in your head, though, so be careful!

Hands down, this is my favorite youtube video of the year!
You just can't make this stuff up.

What I especially love is how it has increased my vocabulary. I didn't know the words "tryna" and "errbody" until this came out!

I have been laughing so hard. This topic is obviously not funny, but that dude is out of control.

Glad to see that other people hadn't seen this clip before! I'm happy that I could introduce it to you. :)

I just found this Q&A segment that Antoine Dodson (the brother in the news clip) posted on YouTube. It sounds like he's gotten a huge fan base in such a short time. That's the magic of the internet.

YES! My sister forwarded this to me & Josh a couple of days ago and we are still laughing about it :)

I should probably stop joking with Josh that he "is so dumb, for real" before he starts to believe me, though :)

Ha! You blogged about it! DANG, that song is funny. But the entire auto-tune-the-news ouerve makes me laugh and laugh and now I hear it in all kinds of speech.

If you have time, listen to this part of a RadioLab episode about how our ears WANT to turn sound into music. It's FASCINATING!! http://www.wnyc.org/shows/radiolab/episodes/2006/04/21/segments/58272

I started to listen to that podcast - it is fascinating! It's interesting to hear the "sometimes behaves to strangely" tune when she plays the full phrase back.

I'm sure that I'm going to start hearing music in normal speech, now... :)

Thanks for posting that link, Ant Bee. Very cool.

Just watched that follow-up interview. My favorite q/a was when someone asked if he'd marry them. I loved his answer: "How big is the ring?" Ha!

He was dramatically low-key in this compared to his original interview!
